Enzyme Therapy restores the skin to its optimum functionality, re-educates muscles for an instant lift and dissolves impurities. It softens and removes topical products that have built up in the skin over time. Enzyme Therapy works by applying transient pressure to the skin to assist with activating our lymphatic and circulatory systems, creating a clean environment for cells to flourish in and feeding the cells fresh oxygenated and nutrient rich blood.
Dermafix offers 2 types of Enzyme therapy treatments, the first being a Corrective enzyme. This is generally paired with an alkaline treatment however it is also great first step before advancing to the Firming Enzyme , or for more sensitive and congested skins.
Our second Enzyme treatment is a Firming Enzyme, this uses a ‘muscle banding’ application technique which lifts the skin and underlying tissue. The hold of the mask holds the superficial muscles in a contracted state, stimulating blood flow to the face, neck & décolletage for oxygenation of the skin as well as encouraging lymphatic and supplying nutrients to the skin.
Firming Enzyme Therapy is an excellent standalone treatment for maximum lift and tone.
Corrective Enzyme Therapy is ideal for more sensitive and congested skins or after advanced skin treatments e.g. Peels, Skin Needling, Alkaline Treatments.
